Episode 9 - Pimpadelic Podcast
"Dwayne McDuffie's black, and he's a writer for that show (Justice League Unlimited). You'd have thought he'd be like, 'Come on, this isn't cool.'"
"Does he really work for them, or just get them coffee?"

Another great podcast, but, if I may, a small suggestion: It's more fun for me when you guys rag on current comics, rather than pulling out some lame-o comic from the 60's or 70's. That stuff was always lame. So, maybe you guys could do a classic and current review in each podcast? Do one old comic, and one new comic? (I secretly want to know if you hate Bendis.)
Well, I'll be eagerly awaiting episode 10 (or as I like to call it, podcast X of podcast X)
I just knew that someone was bound to go there...
And why shouldn't it be me, your faithful commentor? I like to think I've earned it. If not, oh well, it's out there now!
I have to say, this episode was way ghettolicious. I loved the Elvis song. Everything I ever learned from race relations I learned from the songs of Elvis.
I didn't know that Jon Stewart was a Green Lantern. Was this before The Daily Show?
Hmm...well, Stewart's hair wasn't graying yet in the GL story, so I'm guessing that the comic did indeed take place before he took the Daily Show gig.
You think THIS episode of Classic PodCast X was tasteless- you should hear episode 27!
PCX: The Classics Tour.
Jan was hot even with the braces. I would have loved to be her George Glass. I never liked Marsha. She was too bossy and air headed, sure I would fuck her but it would be with hate.
Batman isn't a man born without fear. Before his parents died he was scared of the bats and the dark. As Batman he had to overcome these fears and more especially while fighting Scarecrow. So no Green Lantern ring for him.
1st mention of Bill Mantlo.
Maybe Marvel was a bit scared of the Mafia coming in to break some fingers but worse would have been getting targeted by the Italian American Anti-Defamation League. They got the Justice dept to stop using the word, "mafia", bullied Alka-Seltzer and General Motors to take off commercials they objected to by boycotting.
Damn you for killing Judd Winick's surprise that Mr. Fish was the Civil War's big evil.
