Kudos on the Break song Dr. Trencho- nice find!

Perfect.

This podcast definitely has legs!

This podcast definitely stands on its own two feet!

This podcast runs circles around its competition.

That was quite a stump speech the heroine gave.

Did I read/hear that? Was there an "amputee brothel" in this thing?

Ewwwww!

Oh, and P.S.- the 1st guy didn't want to sell her the car 'cause she wanted to pay in CASH - not 'cause she was a filthy stumpie.

(sigh. yes I read the whole thing.)

Courtney, that chick at the end of the show was definitely...special.

Tank Girl! Now there's a suggestion! Granted, #71-75 are more or less "in the can", but I can see TG being a good review subject for myself and perhaps DJ Hillary Voter himself (a.k.a. Trekkie)...whaddaya say, Trekboy?

Prove once and for all that you don't hate every comic with a female lead who isn't seven feet tall and green!

That's MC Obama Voter, of you please...

anyhow

Tank Girl?

It's science fiction right?

AND It's set in a post apocalyptic world?

Well I'm gonna give Courtney the right of first refusal- as in - She can Skype this review with you.

Otherwise, sure, I'll review it.

I'll just pretend she's green and looks like She Hulk.

Nice try at backseat showrunning there, but we already have a casting director (this after I had to let the old one go for hiring Wicked Truth.)

Me, podcasting with you guys? That would be most excellent!

Sorry, I just watched Bill and Ted.

Backseat?

ahem:

Looks like you have a taker!

Anyhow, I perused the Tank Girl Graphic novel whilst in the Comics Shoppe yesterday.

Visually it looks like a combination of The Dark Knight Strikes again mixed with The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo.

I had a seizure right there in the comic shop.

If it hadn't been for the spinner rack housing the latest 12 Wolverine titles, I would have fallen flat on my pasty comics readin' face.

In short:

I'll review Tank girl- But it might not be pretty.

I've got Skype, I want to podcast!
Just tell me your username and send me the comic and we're set.

Oh and then there's the timezone difference, what time do you guys usually record the show?

Courtney (re: yr first new post) - Y'know, judging from Trekkie's comments, it does look like it might take both of us to defend Tank Girl from him.

Also (if you can find it), check out Marvel's Bill and Ted series from back in the day; that book was wayyy better than it had any right to be.

PS (because I didn't notice your second new post 'til just now!) I'll be in touch via our podcastx@hotmail.com account re: yr upcoming ascent to podcasting superstardom!

*SQUEE* I'm going to be a star!
Or just even more of an attention-whore.

There was a Bill and Ted comic? Does everything have a comic?
Do I have a comic that I don't know about?

Beware, Courtney, my child: this podcast tends to make people insane....I once was a normal girl, until T Mafia corrupted me...Alas, now there is no hope for my redemption...But, if you still wish, like the dead girls say in The Shining: "Come play with us." Trenchie is always looking for new folks to join his minion--I mean, the show... heh heh..

Courtney,

Yeah, what Vixen Said.

She, Thoom and Starhawk have each been doing all the hard work while I have been examining my belly button for the past year looking for signs of intelligent life.

You may get your pick of co-hosts (with Trencho). How cool is that?

Please, though, for all that is good and holy, no more amputees!

Courtney, re: Do I have a comic that I don't know about?

Why, yes. Yes you do. You have a starring role as a resistance fighter in Bucket Mom Takes Australia, #1 in a six-issue limited series, coming July from PCX Publications (no one get too excited, as I'm probably kidding; but then again, can't you just see it?)

To answer Courntey's earlier question:

There is a New kids on the Block Comic, a Coneheads comic, a comic for 60s teen sensation Bobby Sherman, a Planned Parenthood comic and a comic championing segregationist Governor George Wallace. Yes, Courtney, there is a comic for everything.

THOOM

Mr.Thoom, who is Poedon?

And I shall have to draw Bucket Mum (sorry, I mean Mom) and her son fighting Godzilla.

So when do I get to record this podcast?
If I could pick my co-hosts (other than T Mafia) I would have Vixen, she's my girl!

THOOM speaks truly regarding the many ludicrous subjects the funnybook medium has covered down through the years, although he is not the keeper of the secrets of PODON (that would be Starhawk, of whom we have not heard the last.)

And Courtney, for yourself, you can call her Bucket Mum, as that actually sounds much cooler to our American ears.

As for your episode, I will be in touch, honest (the PCX wheels grind very slowly, which is my way of admitting that this is the most poorly organized podcast out there.)

Vixen will probably be honored that you've chosen her to co-host alongside right up 'til the moment where I actually show her Tank Girl, whereupon she's likely to exclaim, "What the hell is this mess?!"

PS I don't know who this "Trencho" character is that Wesley/Trekkie keeps mentioning, but call me that again and I'll start calling you "Court" (and I know how you feel about that!)

Oh wait, I belatedly realized that you meant you were asking me about PODON (d'oh!)

PODON is the mysterious and fearsome sire of Starhawk. All I know for sure about him is that when 'hawk calls upon his power, SH is granted a second moniker that he then goes by for the duration of a typical PCX review.

Sigh.

Well, to quote Joe Quesada, "It's magic. It doesn't have to make sense."

Courtney-

Nothing would please me more than to hear you, Vixen and Mr Trencho review a comic.

However, before you venture further into the man's evil and twisted domain, may I direct you first to the PodCast X "Pledge"?

For your convenience- It's posted here:

PS

Does it HAVE to be Tank Girl?

I shouldn't post late at night, causes confusion and the inability to remember names.
And I won't call you Trencho ever again.

MC Trekkie, I recently watched Tank Girl and I'm a huge fan of Jamie Hewlett, so I'd love to read it.
Plus isn't that what we do here, review bad comics?

I also love Hellboy, but that might be too good.

Oh man, I think I seen that same fkn' special (or a similar one) back in college. Where some ppl just aren't 'happy' unless they're an amputee. They showed this dude cutting off his pinky with a hammer and wood chisel... I seen similar videos before, funny shit.

Now what's really freaky is hairy midget amputee porn! lol

SatanicMuffin (if that's your real name!) - Mutilation is pretty funny in general...but self-mutilation is just goddamn hilarious!

Courtney - Speaking of hilarious...! Oh yeah, that song's "PCX material" alright.

BTW, turns out Vixen's eager to 'cast with you; in fact we were just trying to figure out your hours in relation to what I like to call "normal" time.

PCX: The Classics Tour.

Seriously, no God, just humans and our sense of humor.

Amputee brothels

Its not racist that the bottom of his feet aren't black. It's just reality. Take Vixen's shoes off and see.

Some want it

Whatever happen to Bucket Mom?

Segway to Thoom could have been, "you know who has a mom? Why Timmy Thoom does."

I have an idea for the untold sequel. Orgy Island- Amputee orgies on the beach. Pirates and pedophiles. A one legged Big Foot, Roswell alien amputeed survivors, a psychic with the ultimate amputee, no head.

Bill And Ted Excellent Comic Book was excellent, why of course it was, it was done by the great Evan Dorkin. Damn my laziness, I was on my way to becoming a close friend/fan when we used to correspond regularly.
