Happy seventh anniversary, Podcast X! And to celebrate, here's the on-air premiere of longtime commenter XantesFire! Because Timmy Thoom demanded it!

Oh by the way, the Feedburner icon's acting up again; "0 subscribers" indeed! Hopefully, they'll fix that eventually.

Ah, I see they've fixed it...for now.

The next episode's probably going up on the 31st, by the way.

Make that April 1st, as I'm gonna post new ep.s on the 1st & 15th of each month for the immediate future. Sigh. At least I kept the show weekly as long as I could.

Tim & Xantes,

Please resend your own Skype IDs to me (my account is "trenchcoatmafia1"); I lost those IDs when I upgraded my OS.

Fucking Microsoft.

Xantes, thanks - hopefully, Tim'll eventually get around to it as well.

...and he did. Finally.

On an unrelated note, coming up next time - the most tasteless comic PCX has reviewed since Amputee Love...

In the meantime, I'm on the GeekBrunch Retro-cast at http://www.geekbrunchpodcast.com/ - also available for download via the front page of the Podcast X website.

I've not only listened to this, but I have submitted an iTunes review.

I don't know why Tim is at odds with Xantesfire. He's a smashing fellow, and I think that this podcast is a good example of that.

What episode of the Retro Cast were you on?

Episode 10, the most recent one.

Thanks for the iTunes review; much appreciated.

I thought this was a good episode, too. I guess I've gotta learn to just ignore Tim's opinions - after all, anyone who prefers shit like Star Trek to Doctor Who...!

Did the review actually show up? I was scared that it would get denied due to whatever language Apple might disagree with.

I like Star Trek, but not near as much as Who. That reminds me: gotta watch that new episode!

Apple iTunes is finally carrying Podcast XXX, so they're apparently loosening up.

I haven't seen Saturday's new episode yet either, but I did download it.

I've seen it. I heard early theories about the new companion, but I feel like they're wrong because mainstream TV isn't going to allow the Doctor to have such a strange back and forth with a companion if she turns out to be his daughter.

But for all we know, Gallifreyans are pro-incest.

I've actually looked on the Internet to see if there's ever been a comic about incest to review on PCX, but I couldn't find any.

Just as well, considering how far in advance the show's "booked" for.

As a proud American, of course you didn't find one. There are plenty Japanese incest comics. Mangafox.com is your friend, but I would never recommend that you participate in reading illegal scans. Aki and Sora is one I remember, and Yomerio Choice is another.

Of course, Japanese porn comics are just full of incest. Fakku.net has all of that, neatly categorized. Again, I would not promote piracy efforts.

Who can afford comics at $4.00 a pop?! The only comic I've ever actually bought to review on the show was Monster, and that was only because I couldn't find a scan of it at the time.

I gotta bookmark these sites - just so I can download comics to evaluate, of course.

Hey, Shounen Jump is 99cents an issue (digitally), for like 300 pages! Abandon the Big Two and their overpriced titles. They don't know what they're doing. They're remixing and rematching all these characters willy-nilly. Although I hear that Superior Spider-man's good. I wonder if Courtney's fond of Peter Parker now that he has the mind of a real genius.

April 02, 2013 7:06 PM
Blogger T Mafia said...

I forget what Courtney thinks about Spider-Man, but I do know she's a fan of misunderstood heroes like Lex Luthor and Doctor Doom.

She's probably against him in principle, but she has dressed as Venom so she's at least a fan of some of the Spider-man family.

April 03, 2013 7:14 PM
Blogger T Mafia said...

I forgot all about those Venom pics.

Like I've said before, Courtney should cosplay as Flower, the topless chick from Kamandi. Not that that's ever gonna actually happen.

Whoa, thought that was my cousin. I didn't realize my Hispanic accent had returned that much.

Jocasta was made from the Wasp's brain patterns. Is it incest if a guy fucks a real doll he made? They are not genetically related. Imagine you brainwashed a female into thinking she's your wife, is she now your wife? Is it incest if you brainwashed an unrelated female into thinking she was your daughter and then had sex? Is it incest if you are reincarnated as your daughter's boyfriend(Chances Are)?

I just realized the biggest drawback with cosplay Tigra, it's probably make up, not fur. So instead of feeling that soft furry body, you'll probably get greasy paint all over you. Not the experience you would hope for when fucking Tigra.

What's wrong with Star Trek and which one you talking about, cause I never really watched Voyager (couldn't stomach too much of the Grew), and Enterprise (tried but just too much more inprtant stuff to do.) Original is fun to watch, NG does get dull and DS9 I like but you need to watch in order.
I preferred Star Trek to most other scifi cause even thought the physics can be iffy it usually didn't rely on a magical ending. which Doctor Who has been doing too often of late, really, putting the monster back to sleep by giving it a leaf and pointing out the unhappened possibilities? And noone else thought of doing that before?

Clara his daughter? Never thought about that. I was thinking she's a time lord who saved herself from the Time War by sending her soul into endless reincarnations, hopes for it to be Romana. Or that Clara would end up dying in a present episode that would send her back in time to be constantly reincarnated. What I hope she wasn't- River Song.

Can't find incest in comics? Most obvious and recent, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the Ultimates.
Eternity Smith, sorta of a Doc Savage rip, but the daughter was trying to get her father in bed with her, think it was cancelled before she did it. Captain Atom, his daughter had a daddy fetish. In Old Man Logan, Hulk has a big reneck family with Jennifer as their mom. And in Hulk annual 24, Horny Hulk goes to mate with She-Hulk, but she says no. None superheroes, I killed my Boyfriend and One Bad Rat. And of course like Vichussmith noted manga has plenty.

Anyone finding Google acting funny, like it's censoring itself moreso?

Thanks for praise, Vichus.

Real dolls don't talk to you, much less go into battle with you. That's the difference.

What's a Grew? I haven't watched any Start Trek TV in a damn long time.

Your theory on Clara is a lot more interesting than the kid theory, especially since I don't think the Who writers want to upset any fanfiction the viewers are hurriedly typing up.

Google censoring? Besides Youtube taking the nightstick to any slightly infringing or "obscene" content, I think Google's still Google. If I want to see titties or whatever, it's still popping up.

And if they could go into battle with you what then?

Used to be a Star Trek podcast called Make it so and they used to refer to Kate Mulgrew as The Grew.

Forgot from before, Smax from Top Ten has sex with his female twin and his partner knows about it, in fact I think she convinced him that it was okay. In Valiant Comics During the Unity Crossover, Erica Pierce/Mothergod, kept her son young(13 maybe) and had sex with him constantly. By the way Valiant Comics is starting up again.

I remember googling stuff like "incest in comics" and I used to get the right kind of info like Unity, Eternity Smith, and other titles I can't remember. (Was it Google?) or maybe just the internet has changed and so have the laws.

Whatever accent you might have apparently isn't as strong as Courtney's, judging by how hard a time Starhawk had understanding her.

As bad as Voyager was, Enterprise was even worse.

Kill Your Boyfriend was some great Grant Morrison writing.

Good for Vichus standing up for you, since Tim really tore into you for no good reason.

And good for Alan Moore too, letting Smax fuck his sister (his own sister that is; not Alan Moore's).

I like Kate Mulgrew (Mulgrew/ Jennifer Walters lesbian fanfic coming up!), and Voyager's cool with me. I know any Star Trek fan I come across hates it (it lasted very long, so a lot of you are shit-ass liars) but I dug it.

What's the problem? Too much menstruation on the bridge?

Top 10 is great. I'd just like to say that. Thank you, Xantes, for allowing me the opportunity to reiterate that. Moore's a fucking awesome magical psycho.

The Grew's voice was like chalk on a chalkboard. I just couldn't get myself to like her. And before you say I just don't like female commanders, I loved Admiral Helena Cain and wished she had gone onto Voyager as Ensign Rho. Michelle Forbes is incredible and sexy.

Vichus & Xantes:

I know MC Trekkie claimed to hate Voyager , yet he watched every episode; speaking of "shit-assed liars"...

Mulgrew to me sounded just like Patricia Neal from the original Day the Earth Stood Still. Which is to say, pretty goddamn bad.

Just one more reason to not like Trekkie. Have you seen or heard from him at all??

You all are throwing out female names, and I don't have a clue who these people are. Oh well! :)

Vichus,

Trekkie has chosen to vanish off the face of the Earth. Starhawk hasn't heard from him either.

Xantes,

As bad as the Next Gen crew looks now, they still all look better than Shatner.

I'd fuck 'em all-- especially John de Lancie.

What do you think drove Trekkie away? Him or his family?

"Trekkie has chosen to vanish off the face of the Earth."

Good.

"As bad as the Next Gen crew looks now, they still all look better than Shatner."

It's not a fair comparison. Shatner is in his 80s. The TNG people are only in their 50s and 60s.

Shatner's version of Kirk never existed at all in the new Trek continuity, so Shatner's whole career was for nothing.
