Ok Thoom-
I want you to do a Podcast entitled "Steamboat and his Sea Monkeys"

Funny stuff.

Legion of Super Pets?

Since your're a fan of the Supes' Movies- check out the Donner Cut of Superman II- Like it or not (and many of us Podcast Xer's don't like it)It changes everything about that movie.

You missed all that good humor with Rated G Cat Superman about to "Eat" Lois.

re: Superman "eating" Lois - yeah, but we just did that joke! From #40 just two weeks ago:

Me - "Heh. He's gonna eat her."

Vixen - "And not in a good way!"

Also, anyone else who liked this episode (and if you didn't, what the fuck's wrong with you?!), head over to Comic Book Noise (conveniently linked to on the main PCX page) for more THOOM! than you can shake a gaggle of herpes-infected sea monkeys at.

When you were touting the virtues of Walt Kelly, I'd forgotten that the trade of old Lil Rascals comics I'd bought a few months ago was drawn by Kelly.

Buckwheat had pink lips in the comics, but that was more the coloring than the pencils. Otherwise, he's drawn as human kid and the coonishness was toned way down, considering. He just came off as another rascal. He even comes off as the leader of the gang in some of the stories...

...which shows perfectly why it's always better to be "ahead" of one's time, as opposed to being a (mindless/sheep-like/Eisneresque) "product" of it.

I read some of those "Our Gang" strips in TCJ (Fantagraphics no doubt cross-promoting that trade collection); they may not be Pogo good, but I thought they held up surprisingly well.

I continue to be displeased by the lack of Starhawk/Tricock.

Good show anyway ... I guess :\

Damn. And this after I generously offered to rape you myself back in #41.

Well, you'll be getting more tricock than you can probably handle next month, when Starhawk returns in a podcast so long that I predict even you won't be able to take it in all at once.

" I continue to be displeased by the lack of Starhawk/Tricock. "

I agree with the above statement.

To be more critical though, I hated how much THOOM spoke over PODCAST X. It wanted to yell, " Dude STFU, this is TCM's podcast, so let him get in a word edgewise. "

Great show otherwise.

I love to know what you guys think of the current Thunderbolts, by Ellis.

A Thunderbolts review is probably inevitable, as it'll give me the perfect chance to bring up everything I ever said about Civil War and cry out, "Now do you see how right I was about everything? This shit is exactly what Cap was trying to prevent before he went all pussy on us!"

damn you're so correct. He didnt want them to become tools of the government, and yet thats exactly what the Thunderbolts have become.

This is one of the more adult Marvel titles, as well. Can't wait to hear your review

Read the new issue. Very impressed so far. Just so you know, we'll (I'm assuming Starhawk will want in on this one) probably wait until this "Faith in Monsters" arc is over, and review the whole story all in one shot.

PCX: The Classics Tour.

1st PCX/Thoom crossover.

1st appearance of Ebony Steamboat.

1st mention of Bruce Rosenberger.

Sea-Monkeys site.

Do you think Lois did naughty stuff with the cat?

What was wrong with Wicked Truth, sure she was dominating but it's only cause you couldn't handle her at times.

I'm surprised you haven't done Marshal Law in Kingdom of the Blind, where Marshal Law takes on that universe's Batman.

It's probably not the first time Batman been to Catwoman's lair and has found cosplay cats.

Eartha Kitt was creepy as Catwoman and I never saw her as sexy. I think it was mostly her voice and her manish face with the big forehead. My preference is Julie Newmar.

"Warshington?"

Please, everyone always misses the obvious, Jackie O had JFK done in. She was tired of him fucking around.

Aw please. "Animals are our brethren" "I eat chicken and fish" chicken and fish are animals. It's just people trying to make themselves feel more superior to others. "I don't eat meat, because I don't like animals to suffer." But then you eat fish and chicks.

Kid Mission's a man?
Did you ever get Kid Mission's pic?

Cap had a point, he's against registration because it forces heroes into a government organization. He has always been for training heroes and personal responsibility. IronMan don't care about that. Armour War, Tony goes around disabling his tech even in good guys, afterwards? Wasn't me, it was an ex-employee. He's not into the training, but he is into control.

Wait, TCM is a Dr. Who fan? Is it just the new ones he doesn't like?

Thoom says, "Baby", often enough it is becoming disturbing.

Perry screwing Lois? Don't think so, he probably gives her a cash advance because having her byline and rep as Superman's girlfriend is worth a lot.

Why is Thoom so stuck on non-existing racial issues?

Hey, just cause his name is Superman doesn't mean he's a Nazi. He was always progressive and for equal rights(as far as the writers understood them.)
Check out Superman old time audio on Itunes, in quite a few they show he's for equality.

Dowries were still done so what was the big surprise in the 60's?

Lana was hypnotized like most of the people in Smallville, Superman was able to unhypnotize everyone.

They got rid of Laurel Kent because they weren't sure the writers would keep her after they read Man of Steel, Women of Kleenex.

If Woody had only gone to the police.

Should get Vixen to do Ramba, she has a cat that licks her.

Remember the Little Rascals was not meant to be racist, in fact it was meant to show the humanity in children. Make them natural and equal. I would think any comic portraying these characters would not be racist.
