Sounds like they are saying you shouldn't have kids if you don't think you can handle them. Isn't that the smart and right thing to do?

So is Thoom saying mother/son incest would have made their life easier?

Think they tried to make it realistic so women could relate. If they were fictional generics, then people wouldn't care and Thoom would complain that they were generic fictional characters.

At the time of the writing doctors either wore the reflector headbands cause they didn't have small portable lights or wore them as a sign of their profession or they were old school and preferred them. Supposedly ENT's still use them or a headband light.

No actually more women die in child birth than abortions.

A woman can have sex thousands of times and not get pregnant. And since she' s young and small perhaps this is the first time a pregnancy took and she's been miscarrying all the other times.

You don't understand how a hospital works by doing the procedure first and billing them later? And you were am EMT? Besides being compassionate to people coming for help, how about that it's better for all for abortions to be done fast and as soon as possible? Less risk on the woman and further away from that pesky line of when it's human.

Parents have to constantly convince themselves that having the kid was the right thing. By tricking other people to have kids they get a bigger support group.
