Man, I saw a whole run of this series in the five for a dollar bin and passed it up. Just because i was cheap. (I already had tons of comics in my hands)
Todays lesson: Don't be a skin flint kids.

Question: I see this story, "Pop" was a backup story.
My question is whether the main series is the usual "written for trade" multi-issue story. So, the done-in-one "Pop" is unusual for this title?

The song choice fit the comic and show's tone perfectly...Unfortunately, it stayed stuck in my head for days.

It's funny how both the best and worst songs have that same effect; in fact, "I find it kind of funny/I find it kind of sad..." Arrgh! Now it's stuck in my head!

I think of this whole renumbered run as one big story, but I checked and it turns out that 9 of the 25 issues weren't billed as "Part X of X" and were presumably intended to stand alone (David still advances the overall arc even in these; note the revelation of Cap's mind control over Rick in this ish, for example).

Mind you, the multi-parters are just as worthy of paying 20¢ apiece for themselves; in fact, the longest (the 6-part "Odyssey") actually pays off with the darkest ending ever.

PCX: The Classics Tour.

90's Marvel was of full generic story lines. It might have been a different hero, villain and setting but same take over plan and hero solution. It got tiring.

I loved the Professor Hulk, wished they had made a poster of that scene.

The Genis Vell should be a lesson to all men make sure the bitch swallows or flushes after she spits. Never leave a used condom behind, dispose of it immediately or this can happen.

Listen Dr Monkey Pants, I don't understand why you, of all people, are complaining about name changes.

And Billy Batson is the real Captain Marvel. DC just lost that particular naming right due to lawyerism and karma.

You thought Thoom was similar to PCX?
